It is said that laughter is the best medicine and now it has been proved to be true.

Comedian Angie Belcher has completed a study with the National Health Service (NHS) at a mental health unit in Bristol, UK to see if laughter really helps our mental health.
The small, pilot study showed significant results, winning funding from the NHS to continue with further projects and studies with mental health patients.
Some individuals in the unit suffering with postnatal depression, PTSD and other anxiety disorders noted that the laughter course made them feel like a BRIGHTER version of themselves.
A good old laugh is not only good for your fun levels, but also boosts the brain and health.
The classes have helped diminish the taboo around mental health, making conversation around grief, for example, more light-hearted and easier to cope with.
At the least, it gave the participants a big smile.
